Optometrist, Managing Partner
Dr. Randy Kelly is a dedicated and experienced optometrist who has been providing outstanding eye care since 2003. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree from North Dakota State University and graduated with high honors from Pacific University College of Optometry in Oregon. His extensive externship training includes time at the VA Medical Center in Spokane, WA, Eye Care Associates in Fargo, ND, and Pacific University’s own clinical network—giving him a broad foundation in both medical and routine eye care.
As the managing partner at Blaine Family Eye Care and Look Minnetonka, Dr. Kelly specializes in comprehensive eye exams, contact lens fittings, dry eye therapy, and the diagnosis and management of ocular disease. He also co-manages cataract and laser vision correction surgeries. Known for his thorough, compassionate approach, Dr. Kelly is committed to providing the highest quality of care to patients of all ages.
Dr. Kelly is passionate about staying up to date with the latest advancements in optometry and integrating modern technology into patient care to ensure the best possible outcomes.
Outside the clinic, Dr. Kelly enjoys traveling, cooking, and spending time outdoors. He especially values weekends at the lake with his wife, Kate, and their two children, Gabriel and Liliana.
Optometrist, Managing Partner
Dr. Rodney Binfet brings over two decades of experience in providing exceptional eye care. He earned his Bachelor of Science from the University of Minnesota–Morris and his Doctorate of Optometry from the Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago. He completed his externship training at the VA Medical Center in Mountain Home, Tennessee and Nome, Alaska, where he gained valuable experience in diagnosing and managing a wide range of eye conditions.
Since beginning his career in 2000, Dr. Binfet has remained passionate about delivering personalized, comprehensive eye care. He is the managing partner at Blaine Family Eye Care and Look Minnetonka, where he specializes in routine and medical eye exams, contact lens fittings, dry eye treatment, and the diagnosis and management of ocular disease. He also works closely with surgeons to co-manage cataract and LASIK procedures.
Dr. Binfet takes a proactive approach to eye health, with a strong focus on preventative care. He has a particular interest in how nutrition and lifestyle play a role in long-term eye wellness.
When he’s not caring for patients, Dr. Binfet enjoys spending time outdoors—whether it’s biking, traveling, or cross-country skiing (including his annual tradition of skiing the Birkie). He treasures weekends at the family cabin and quality time with his wife, Sarah, and their three children: Evelyn, Jacob, and Samuel.
